The BL-S490-C is the larger of our wheeled, seated mini skid steer loaders, for yards, depots, warehouses and farm buildings with concrete or paved floors. Its gain over the BL-S390-C is lifting capacity and power, not rated load: it lifts up to 350 kg, while its rated load is 250 kg.

A two-cylinder engine runs on petrol or diesel: KOOP (15 kW), Rato (16.8 kW) or Briggs & Stratton Vanguard (17 kW). The 1,150 mm bucket holds 0.1 m³, and the working height is 1,650 mm. The machine is 1,089 mm wide, 1,150 mm at the bucket, and weighs 850 kg. It travels at up to 6 km/h on firm ground and is rated for 25° slopes. Joystick controls are standard.

For soft ground, the BL-T490-C tracked seated loader has the same engines and capacities and reaches 50 mm higher. If your doorways are narrow, the BL-S390-C is 100 mm narrower at the bucket and rated 10 kg higher, with roughly half the engine power.

    Before starting the engine, we inspect the fuel tank and all pipework.

  2. 02Run and travel test

    We run the engine and operate every movement, then drive the machine to test the travel system.

  3. 03Leaks, cooling and final check

    We look for oil leaks, shut the machine down, inspect the cooling and finish with a last pipework check.

Can I choose the engine and the colour?

Where the specification lists more than one engine under Engine options, you choose one when you order. Loaders are painted to order, so tell us the colour you want.

How is the loader shipped?

By sea in a 20GP or 40HQ container. A 20GP takes six of our 360, 390, 460, 490 or 750 sizes, or four of the 1000 size. A 40HQ fitted with loading racks takes up to 30 of the 360 size, 22 to 24 of the others, or 10 of the 1000 size. Attachments change the plan, which we confirm with your order.
